    As The Washington Times’ Stephan Dinan reports today, the Bush administration yesterday reached an immigration deal with the Senate that offers a multistep path to citizenship to millions of aliens who are already here illegally.

    Reaction to the amnesty deal has been negative on both sides of the issue, but conservatives seem especially incensed (as they should be).

    Possible presidential contender Newt Gingrich on Fox called it a “sellout of every conservative principle,â€
