Indifference of citizens, increasingly common at homicide scenes

A teenager turned and saw the bloodied body on the street, looked at the body just a few seconds and moved on.
On the dirt road, with his head practically destroyed, a hitherto unknown man, who was killed while walking toward an unknown point. He was homicide victim number 119 this month. Many people watched with indifference, and others are fed up with the amount of violence that is daily living in this city. The site where the crime occurred is located right in the intersection of China and Fiji Bay in the colony José MartÃ*, on one side of Infonavit Technology, where murders are the "daily bread", to say the neighbors. "This happens all the time. The police just come to collect the bodies and make off without doing anything, and we do not see them again until they kill another person," said a resident of Bay Street Fiji. In front of the body is a Child Welfare Center and a primary school, both empty for the holiday period. Women with babies in their arms came up the street ready to see what was happening. Others stayed away and continued their routine activities. Several men rushed to the scene trying to identify the victim, but the elements of the Special Crime Scene Unit prevented them from access and directed them to the Police, which was occupied much of time to cordon off the scene crime and then find shade to protect from hot sun.

The victim was face down in the street and presented at a glance multiple gunshot wounds to the skull. This person was described as a man of 1.65 meters of stature, swarthy complexion and regular, who wore a blue shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. After securing 10 items, .45 caliber cases, units of the Attorney General's Office withdrew from the place and the Medical Examiner staff proceeded with the transfer of the body, then the few neighbors who were there left.

But this feeling of indifference is not just the those in the neighborhood. Yesterday the Attorney General's Office declined to even issue a communication of a homicide recorded in there.

US has 500 agents 'spies' deployed throughout MexicoEL PASO - Mexico is in the process of a virtual invasion by the United States, but this time quietly and controlled, after the Mexican government revealed the presence of 500 U.S. federal agents to "spy" on their territory. Officials of the Attorney General's Office (PGR) said that the U.S. has that number of officers from various departments. Reportedly, the purpose of these elements, which are legally in Mexico, is to obtain information on criminal organizations, investigate and prosecute, in order that the criminal’s activities do not jeopardize U.S. security.

According to officials of the PGR, in 2005 only 60 U.S. agents were deployed south of the border. Currently, Mexican authorities are working with about five hundred members of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The PGR has reported that binational cooperation in fighting criminal organizations and drug trafficking has generated positive results, including the location of Arturo Beltran Leyva, "El Barbas."

Charles Bowden, journalist and author of several books on drug trafficking, including "Murder City: Ciudad Juarez and the Global Economy's New Killing Fields", says sending more and more agents to Mexico can be a pilot project for a larger plan for the future. Apparently, the U.S. fears war could break out. Therefore, it is sending agents to Mexico to see if the stage is set in that country. America wants to have a level of control and repression south of the border, and Mexico obviously has two forces: change and liberation and violence and crime. And the U.S. does not want it to be chaos and crime.http://tinyurl.com/3qr2dya

Nov. 1, 2010: Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever, left, speaks about illegal immigration at an event in Arizona also attended by Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu.
An Arizona sheriff says he has been flooded with calls and emails of support from local and federal agents who back his claims that the U.S. Border Patrol has effectively ordered them to stop apprehending illegal immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexican border.

“Upper management has advised supervisors to have agents ‘turn back South’ (TBS) the illegal aliens (aka bodies) they detect attempting to unlawfully enter the country … at times you even hear supervisors order the agents over the radio to 'TBS' the aliens instead of catching them,â€
