It looks like the Governor is trying to backtrack on his promise to allow our state and town law enforcement agencies to join Secure Communities, the free program that automatically checks the fingerprints and notifies ICE of any foreign nationals who are arrested in the Commonwealth. Because so many groups that oppose immigration law enforcement (even for criminal illegal aliens) protested his announcement in December, he is holding an extended series of “hearings�
