Man, 35, Charged With Raping Acquaintance, 9
(CBS) LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. A 35-year-old man was arrested Friday on suspicion of raping a 9-year-old girl in a home he was sharing with the victim's family.

Bayron Coronado Toledo is accused of forcing the child from the bathroom of the home in the 100 block of Townsend Street at about 7:30 a.m. and raping her in his bedroom, said sheriff's Sgt. Evan Peterson.

He was interrupted by family members living in the house who called sheriff's deputies, Peterson said.

Toledo, who is from Mexico, had been living in the home for about five months, Peterson said.

He was arrested on suspicion of rape of a juvenile under 14 and kidnapping with the intent to commit rape, Peterson said.

The girl was treated at a hospital.

Man Arrested, Suspected Of Raping 9-Year-Old Girl
(CBS) LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. A Mexican national was arrested on suspicion of raping a 9-year-old girl in the Lake Elsinore residence where he had been living.

A man who identified himself as Bayron Coronado Toledo, 35, allegedly committed the crime about 7:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Townsend Street.

Toledo allegedly abducted the girl from the residence's bathroom, forced her into his room and raped her, however family members interrupted the assault.

Toledo was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of kidnapping with intent to commit rape and raping a juvenile under 14.

There is no mention of his immigration status, just that he is from Mexico.

Mexican national is a commonly substituted term by the media in place of undocumented or illegal immigrant. They also sometimes refer to them as Mexican citizens in articles.

No matter what his nationality, I hope he gets what he so justly deserves.
