U.S. Immigration Policy on the Table at the WTO

In the contentious negotiations leading up to the December 13-18 World Trade Organization (WTO) summit, the big drama has centered around agricultural trade and whether the richer countries will grant expanded market access to commodities from the Global South. However, there has also been a battle brewing between developing countries and the U.S. government over immigration. Led by India , several countries are demanding expansion of U.S. visa programs for temporary professional workers.

How did immigration wind up on the table at the WTO? Under the global trade body's General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS), governments can regulate the supply of services performed by foreigners. The technical term for this type of service trade is Mode 4. Thus far, the types of visas being discussed are those for executives and highly skilled professionals, such as Indian software engineers who have come to work in the Silicon Valley and other high-tech hubs in the United States . Some developing countries are pushing for the Mode 4 talks to cover less-skilled workers as well.

The wrangling over visas is just one more example of the WTO's mission creep. Global trade rules are no longer aimed merely at eliminating tariffs on goods that cross borders. The ultimate goal of GATS, for example, is to lift barriers to all manner of services by curbing national and local government controls on the entry of global banks, insurance companies, and other service providers into each country's markets. Other WTO rules limit government efforts to offer affordable generic medicines or to protect native plants and traditional handicrafts from being patented for profit by global businesses. And any domestic law, including public interest regulations, can be challenged under WTO rules as “an unfair barrier to trade.�

With the Hong Kong WTO summit only weeks away, negotiators appear to be deadlocked on many issues. Regarding Mode 4, the White House has thus far committed only to maintaining its current level of H-1B professional visasâ€â€

People, please read this paragraph if you never read another thing about Globalism. Please read it until you understand and the realization knocks you in the head and you get that queasy feeling in your stomach when you comprehend "I've been had".

National, state and local governments will have no authority. No "public interest" regulation is safe...worker safety, environmental controls, individual rights, freedom and liberty, family leave, minimum wage, automatic over-time, workman's compensation, zoning laws, set-back requirements, equal rights, Thanksgiving, Christmas, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day, President's Day, Columbus Day, New Year's Day, Sunday...anything that sets the USA apart, that makes us different, that makes us more expensive or more costly.....like paid holidays....like family leave.....like worker protections.....like zoning laws, especially that Single Family Zoning Law....can be challenged as unfair barriers to trade and guess what?

Guess WHO decides such challenges?

Not US. Not our Congress. Not our President. Not the American People. Not even our SCOTUS. Nope....the WTO decides.

This is already happening!! 38 Free Trade Agreements have already been signed by this Maniacal Turd Pile some pour souls still address as the President of the United States. ALL commerce under ALL these FTA's is NOW BEING GOVERNED by the World Trade Organization.

WTO = Crones (Remember the Two Class Game?) Crones are the Elites that own, not manage, but OWN the world's largest multi-national corporations.

World = Drones (Remember?....The masses of the world employed in working poverty ruled by the Crones alias the WTO).

Who stood in the way of world tyranny? Why the Americans of course, the only people on the planet with the spirit, will, beliefs, and money to STOP IT.

But what is happening to US, the Americans? We're bankrupt. We've been bankrupted by what? Illegal immigration. Declining wages and salaries. Increasing costs across the board...housing up, utilities up, insurance up, interest rates up, medical care up, state and local taxes up, borrowings up, everything you have to have is increasing in price as wages and salaries decline and everyone is borrowing to stay afloat.

What else is happening to US, the Americans? We've been invaded by foreign nationals. This creates dissent. This creates turmoil amongst the people. Americans trying to stop this nonsense are called "xenophobes" and "racists" and compared to "white supremacists" and they don't even care what color you really are....if you're opposed to illegal immigration, then you are a "lyncher" by false accusation.

Stand Up America. It's now or never.

Don't let these Elitists take one more step towards Globalism.
