Man (decorated Vet) stabbed by illegal immigrant sues city, police

A decorated Iraq war veteran is suing the city of Phoenix.

Jason Okon nearly died after getting stabbed by a deported illegal immigrant in Okon's front yard in 2006.

Now Okon and his wife have filed a class action lawsuit against the city and the Phoenix Police Department.

Some of the allegations in this civil rights' action include gross negligence in the enforcement of immigration laws and civil rights violations.

The suit alleges that the suspect had an active warrant and the Phoenix Police Department knew about it at the time of the attack.

The lawsuit was filed last week. The city has not been served.

Ohhhhh, I remember that one!!

It was absolutely horrific. From what I remember, this guy was out just doing yard work, minding his own business, when the IA walked up on him with the knife and stabbed him. I don't know if they ever determined if it was a robbery attempt, hate crime, or what.

Oh wait....silly me. Couldn't be a "hate crime" because Mr. Okron is an American, not a Latino illegal alien

Good! I'm glad he's suing and I hope he wins.

When American citizens start costing these sanctuary cities, along with their pro-illegal politicians and assorted other public officials, big $$$ maybe they will start re-thinking their positions.

Oh me too! Great case! Lets see where the Courts are when it comes to illegal aliens vs. our Veterans.
