Man indicted for capital murder in child’s death; originally ruled an accident

A Williamson County grand jury today charged a man with capital murder in the April death of a 9-year-old girl who Cedar Park police initially said was accidentally electrocuted.

Roni Nunez, 23, is accused of sexually assaulting and killing Cecilia Margarita Izquierdo on April 25 at a Cedar Park home in the 2100 block of East Riviera Drive. Nunez rented a room in the house and lived with several families, including Cecilia’s, in the home, officials said.

Nunez and the child were not related, state Child Protective Services spokesman Chris Van Deusen said.

The indictment said Nunez, who is a Honduran national, slashed Izquierdo’s throat with a “knife or unknown object, in the course of committing or attempting to commit aggravated sexual assault or kidnapping.â€

Nunez, the murderer, is a Honduran National.

"Bradley said Cecilia’s parents were brought back to the United States to help with the investigation recently. But since they were not legal residents, they have since returned to Mexico a second time."

A little girl has violently died at the hands of an IA who apparently was being harbored by Cecilia's parents who were also IA's.

I am SICK of reading these kinds of stories! We won't survive much longer as a sovereign nation if something isn't done. Our government is fiddling while the U.S. burns...
