Insult against wife prompted stabbing, according to report.

A vulgar comment about his wife sent Carlos Cntreras Mayahua into a bloody frenzy that ended with one friend dead, his uncle cut and another friend sufferring from severe stab wounds, according to a police report released Wednesday.
Mayahua, 22, and two roomates were drinking beers in a bedroom of their Hollywood apartment Tuesday when one friend, Aldolfo Quiagua, made a crude reference to sex with Mayahua's wife, according to the report.
Quiagua, 19, attacked Mayahua, pushing him onto a bed and injuring his elbow and thigh, Mayahua told police.
Quiagua stormed out of the room and went to sleep in his own bedroom. Moments later, mayahua sought "vengeance," according to the police report.
"Aldolfo, went to his room and Carlos went after him," said police spokesman Detective Carlos Negron. "All of the men jumped in to stop him, and they got stabbed, too."
In the end, Quiagua died at Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday. Jose Florentino Hernandez, 39, remains in critical condition there, and Mayahua's uncle, was treated and released. Mayahua faces a capital murder charge and two counts of aggrevated battery with a deadly weapon.
Mayahua stabbed his sleeping friend multiple times at 2 a.m. Monday, and and stabbed Joel Mayahua in the hand as he tried to calm his nephew, the report said.
In the melee, another roommate, Hernandez, was stabbed in the abdomen as he helped wrestle the knife from Mayahua's grasp, police said.
The three injured men stumbled out of the two bedroom apartment that they shared with three other men, all of whom were construction workers and knew each other from Mexico. Police arrived and Mayahua barricaded himself inside for several hours.
Hostage negotiations tried to talk him out, but police had to storm the apartment to arrest him.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel could not find a police record, but police said he was also in the country illegally and had been deported once in February.
After the slaying Tuesday, neighbors said that the men have not caused problems before.

I will find out if ICE was notified and if this guy gets deported. I wonder if these men were working on the new Trump condo project in Hollywood. The majority of the workers are illegal Mexicans.
