Man slams into car twice with baby inside

BONITA SPRINGS: Authorities say a Mexican national living in Southwest Florida was arrested after crashing his car into another vehicle twice containing a 1-year-old child.

Report says Hereberto Hernandez Maldonado was taken into custody then given a breathalyzer test.

Results show both times he registered 0.229, more than three times the 0.08 considered to be driving drunk in Florida, according to reports.

He was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs/first offense, driving without a valid license, DUI resulting in property damage and leaving the scene of a crash causing property damage.

He is a citizen of Mexico and remained in jail Saturday. There is no word if Maldonado is in the U.S. legally.

He was arrested in 2007 for driving without a license.
