    L.A.: New Citizenship Wave RISES

"Today we March; tomorrow we VOTE!" They are doing it!!! Most of these "new citizens from Mexico" are probably illegal aliens...how did they acquire visas or green cards??? I thought you had to apply in your country of origin, and then wait until you were approved!

AND, they had an interpretor! The Constitution states quite clearly that in order to become a citizen, you must speak ENGLISH, and be able to READ and WRITE in ENGLISH!!!

Votes and cheap labor...that's what this country is all about! Sickening!!!!

Why do I get the impression from this article these illegals become citizens at THEIR discretion, as if they are doing this country a favor? I certainly hope it's not that easy for an illegal invader to become a citizen simply because he/she decides to finally do so!

    Not sure I understand this...

Last month's citizenship ceremony at the Los Angeles Convention Center drew 18,000, and the biggest group, with more than 7,700 people, represented Mexico
So Mexico accounted for 43% of all new citizens sworn in on that day. There's approx. 20 million of their citizens in this country illegally and they also represent the largest group of new legal citizens in this country.

When do we reach the point of no return with this mess, or is that even an issue. Is anyone in our government paying attention or are they naturalizing as many of these illegals as they possibly can.

Oh, were interpreters available to everyone, or just those who spoke spanish?

    Interesting...

Most of them only come here to take our jobs, have anchor babies, and work the system. They ALL have a PhD in "working the system". They never cared about becoming citizens...permanent legal status is all they wanted. But they are wittingly, or unwittingly... doing the bidding for Mexico. They are just pawns, but Mexico is winning this de facto war by simply populating our country. AND they will be able to elect all the Reconquistas into office...Villar is counting on it! Mexico is calling the shots, and they MUST become citizens in order to vote. It's all about the vote!

P.S. Another requirement of citizenship is that they MUST renounce ALL ties and loyalty to their native country! Yeah...sure!

The Constitution MANDATES that all prospective citizens be able to speak ENGLISH, and be able to READ and WRITE ENGLISH in a functioning manner.

Since the CFR knows we Citizens really don't care for their candidates . They intend to get votes by hook and crook or what ever means it takes.
Yet they view us as sheep . We view them , the Elites and Globalists as total Traitors and Constitutional law breakers . They are a group of "Do as i say , not as i do". I'm still writing in Dr.Paul . He does not believe in Side Stepping our Constitution even for an Election win . This Invadsion of Illegals is not only bout slave labor but a quick take over with Illegal voters. We have a lot of very Dirty people in Office now
Nam vet 1967/1970 Skull & Bones can KMA .Bless our Brothers that gave their all ..It also gives me the right to Vote for Chuck Baldwin 2008 POTUS . NOW or never*

IMO, these Mexicans WILL NEVER BE CITIZENS, because they ignored the law, entered the country illegally, worked under the table, never learned English, and NEVER assimilated fully into our country. They are NOT and NEVER will be Americans IN MY OPINION.

The Constitution MANDATES that all prospective citizens be able to speak ENGLISH, and be able to READ and WRITE ENGLISH in a functioning manner.

The Constitution REQUIRES that a prospective citizen MUST speak English, and be able to READ and WRITE enough ENGLISH to function normally.
Unfortunately, it's not the Constitution, but rather the Immigration and Nationality Act Sec. 312. [8 U.S.C. 1423] that requires:

    (1) an understanding of the English language, including an ability to read, write, and speak words in ordinary usage in the English language: Provided, That the requirements of this paragraph relating to ability to read and write shall be met if the applicant can read or write simple words and phrases to the end that a reasonable test of his literacy shall be made and that no extraordinary or unreasonable conditions shall be imposed upon the applicant; and

Again, why are these people being provided with interpreters as that would seem to be a violation of INA sec 312...
