I stand in line to get my prescriptions with a $100+ co-pay and they step up to the counter and speak in spanish and get all their prescriptions for $1 each. I am sick of paying while my tax dollars give them everything for free. My mom who is on Social Security has to pay for her Medicare and Medicare Part D at over $400 per month while these freeloaders get all their medical and dental for free. Yes I am pissed off.

It should be mandatory our hospitals have to E-verify citizenship status.

Go to hospital in YOUR country!

Yes, they should get emergency medical care, housing and food - until they can be deported.

Now if they are apprehended on the border, just herd them back - no 'detention', no judges - just tell them they know the way - now go.

What you're saying is practical and makes sense, however, just shooing them back across the border means they'll just continue trying to cross until successful.

In my opinion, every illegal needs to be apprehended and hauled in so their arrest can go on record. Once their fingerprints, picture, interview and paperwork is done they can be returned through the expedited removal procedure.

The expedited return policy means if you're caught within 100 miles of an international border within 14 days you have no right to see an immigration judge. Unfortunately there is an exception for asylum seekers. That is a determination that is made during the interview process.

Illegals returned under the expedited removal process are banned from legal reentry for 5 years. Of course those caught returning illegally at any time will be guilty of a felony return and subject to a fine, prison time, or both.

Much of the "emergency Medicaid " is used for illegal alien deliveries and voila, a new "American citizen " arrives, fully eligible for a lifetime of benefits . Instead of providing free prenatal care, no questions asked, to illegals, they should be reported and deported before they give birth .

Fast track the pregnant and sick ones out of here. They go to the head of the line.

The costs are staggering and I do not want to pay one dime for them.

They can be fingerprinted and photographed right on the border - if we assume that will make a difference.

Yes, they will re-enter or try to - but we continue to shoo them back.

They are forbidden to come in the first place, so any five year restriction is just a waste of breath of paperwork.

The problem is, once they get inside the US, they usually end up staying.

    Just some additional information:

Circumstances of Your Removal Will Determine How Long You Must Wait to Reenter

If you do have a deportation or removal order issued against you, it is possible that you are not allowed to enter the U.S. for five, ten, or 20 years. It is even possible that you have been permanently barred from reentering the United States.

The Five-Year Ban: If you were summarily removed or deported upon arrival at a U.S. port of entry because you were found inadmissible, or if you were removed or deported after having been placed in removal proceedings upon arrival in the U.S., you may be ineligible to return to the U.S. for five years.

The Ten-Year Ban: If an IJ issued a removal order at the conclusion of your removal hearing in Immigration Court (even if you did not attend these proceedings) you may not be able to return for ten years.

The Twenty-Year Ban: Although you can be permanently banned from entering the U.S. if you are deported and attempt to reenter the U.S. prior to the expiration of the ten-year ban, it is possible that an IJ could add an additional ten years to your original ten-year ban. As a result, the issuance of multiple removal orders can often result in a 20-year prohibition from entering the United States.

The Permanent Ban: If you were convicted of an aggravated felony, entered without permission after being removed, or illegally reentered the U.S. after having previously been in the U.S. unlawfully for more than one year, you may be permanently barred from entering the United States.

Of course it makes a difference. For the system to work, we must formally deport those caught at the border through the expedited removal procedure. To ignore that and just shoo them back across the border means there is no deterrent in place to stop them from attempting a return night after night. The threat of prison from actually being formally deported will help to deter some from returning. Just "shooing" them back is like pretending they never illegally entered in the first place. No, their entry must be on record through the removal process.
