Thread: Alabama - ICE: Most Suspects in Foley Raid Here Illegally

A News five investigation has revealed 6 of the 7 suspects arrested in a Baldwin County raid last week were in the country illegally.

The FBI wouldn’t comment on the case, neither would Foley Police or the District Attorney’s office.

However officials with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement revealed detainers are being filed against several of the suspects. ICE only issues detainers on individuals in the country illegally.

Rafael Martinez, Feliciano Santos, Moise Martinez-Campos, Noe Noyola, Francisco Vizcarra-Martinez, Marcos Bravo-Zamora and Giannis Pappadis were arrested on various charges including rape, kidnapping and drug trafficking.

Authorities would not specify which suspects were in the country illegally.

Each individual is currently held in the Baldwin County Jail with minimum bond amounts of $1 million.

ICE officials say if any of the illegal residents bond our they would likely be detained again by immigration authorities.

What is the reason FBI and PD not willing to admit these arrested felons are illegal aliens? I wonder if now our authorities are attempting to protect sanctuary cities. Does anyone know more?
