May Day Union Square: ‘Legalization & jobs for all workers!’

May Day at Union Square was a stunning sight as thousands poured into the park to send a resounding message of repudiation against the recently passed SB1071 law in Arizona. They demanded legalization for the undocumented as well as jobs, housing, education and social services for all.

Union Square has been the site of previous May Day rallies. This year a program of speakers and revolutionary rappers was followed by a two-mile march downtown to Federal Plaza. Their ranks grew along the way as they chanted “Boycott Arizona!â€

How come unions aren't being prosecuted for knowingly having illegal aliens as members??

I think these unions should go and start unionizing in mexico, guatemala, honduras, el salvador, ireland, eastern europe, asia and any other countries whose citizens are illegally squatting here. Think of all the good they would do, and still lline their pockets. They can take the 20-40 million illegal aliens back with them. God knows unions have outgrown their usefulness here.

Unbelievable! Get all illegal aliens out of our country! If millions of us trampled through the border of another country and made these demands I can just imagine what would happen. IMO its an act of war.
