Mayor Passes Hartford Immigration Ordinance

HARTFORD, Conn. -- Hartford Mayor Eddie Perez signed the controversial immigration ordinance passed last week by the Hartford’s Court of Common Council.

The goal is to get the city's immigrants to come forward with information about crimes.

“First and foremost, there is zero tolerance for crime in the City of Hartford,â€

Another bunch of idiots! Illegal immigration needs to be a state crime so local police can handle all criminials!

Hey, calling all Illegal's, go settle in Hartford and bring all your cousins and anchor-babies.

The ordinance requires that police notify federal authorities if an arrestee turns out to be undocumented, Perez said. It also requires that city employees deny any federally funded services to illegal immigrants if required to do so under federal law.

The Hartford City Council unanimously approved the order barring police from asking about immigration status.

So that just means to me that Hartford police are going to have to work harder to identify illegals with stolen identities. This mayor is definitely not making definitive clear law.

Someone should send the mayor the story about what happened to Jamiel Shaw's family in LA this past weekend trying to obtain signatures to amend special order 40 to show him what the future of his city faces.

I should have let you board folks know that I was being sarcastic in my last entry.... obviously I don't think this is fantastic! Yikes.


Personally I have been placing ALIPAC.US literature in neighborhoods in my area that have a high illegal demographic....the information written in Spanish and English tells them where to go for free heath care and benefits and a full welcome….map included!
