Time for a little straight talk here, as presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain likes to say.
McCain’s immigration position is not much different from what it was last year, before political forces caused the Arizona senator to back away from the bipartisan compromise he helped craft in the Senate.
The difference between then and now is how he talks about handling immigration.
