Saban attacks Arpaio's management

According to Sheriff's Office candidate Dan Saban, there's a problem with the way Sheriff Joe Arpaio handles business.

Unincorporated areas of the county are staffed too thin and response times are too high, said Saban, but he has a plan to fix it.

"This reallocation would put 65 more cops back out in these field areas, these field units, which are the first response, without any additional fiscal impact because they are already existing positions," said Saban. "They're just going to be taken from the downtown resource and put out into the street where they need to be."

Saban refers to his plan as "good old-fashioned police strategic planning," which he said has been missing from the Arpaio-run Sheriff's Office.

Arpaio had no comment in response to Saban's allegations. The sheriff has repeatedly referred to Saban as unethical and immoral in character

Well if the Federal government would DO THEIR JOB, maybe Arpaio and his department wouldn't be short and overworked!!! All in all...many of us think he is doing a great job! I'm sure you will find out!!!!!
