Nearly 50 activists from across the country are in the Valley to protest Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's immigration policies. The National Day Laborers Organizing Network teamed up with local community leaders.

The activists went door-to-door in Phoenix Friday evening, asking Hispanic families if they've been racially profiled by sheriff's deputies. They also held a meeting where they videotaped testimonials of people alleging civil rights violations. Organizers plan to send the tapes to the Department of Justice and Congress, urging federal officials to intercede and reform immigration law.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office urges anyone with a racial profiling complaint to contact the FBI, adding Arpaio will keep enforcing the law.
