Beloit, IL- Hundreds of Mexican citizens living in the region head to Beloit to receive identification.
The mobile Mexican Consulate is at St. Thomas Catholic Church through Saturday.
The Id's and passports are available within hours.
They allow those born in Mexico, now living in the U.S., to access to bank accounts, register kids in school, and obtain marriage licenses.
Officials say there are only three consulates in the U.S. and having it elsewhere puts less stress on them.
Neddy Astudillo, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, says, "There is a very high density population of Mexican people in the region so the Mexican Consulate in Chicago can only provide certain amount of passports and matriculas daily so this is an opportunity for them to do it in other places.
The church is located at 822 East Grand Avenue.
Those seeking id's & passports should bring birth certificates, official id with two copies, two color photos and proof of residence.

American patriots need to picket mobile Mexican Consulates whenever they hear that they are coming to town! Better yet, why doesn't ICE send a team over to do their job? Legal immigrants have nothing to fear from ICE.
