Immigration Enforcement Won't Shift If DREAM Act Fails
Immigration Enforcement Won't Shift If DREAM Fails
Friday, 17 Dec 2010 06:51 PM
WASHINGTON (AP) — Immigration officers are unlikely to take extraordinary steps to arrest young people who have publicly revealed they are in the country illegally should the DREAM Act fail in the Senate.
Assistant Homeland Security Secretary John Morton says immigration officers will continue their focus on immigrants who have committed crimes or are a threat to the public. He says they will handle cases of non-criminal immigrants on a case-by-case basis.
The Senate has scheduled a vote Saturday on the DREAM Act which would give provisional legal status to illegal immigrants brought to the country as children. The House approved the bill last week. Many young illegal immigrants have been pressing Congress to pass the bill in public demonstrations.

Illegals go home
Of course, the Demos are in the White House. We have to vote all the Demos out to change course. You know the Demos love illegal aliens to advance their socialist agenda. Do not forget 2012, we have to replace Obama and the Demos.

We'll just see what happens when the new Congress takes office in January . Morton can run his mouth all he wants to but he is bound by law to enforce current Immigation law which he has not done YET. I think that is about to change next year.

Morton is another crooked, corrupt and incompetent component of a crooked corrupt Homeland Insecurity Department. I am wondering about the outcome of Napolitamnesty's border photo-op.
