PHOENIX - Hackers have struck again. AntiSec has hit eight AZ Fraternal Order of Police websites and released hundreds of officer's user names, passwords, and email account information.

On the website, AntiSec says: "We're doing this not only because we are opposed to SB1070 and the racist Arizona police state, but because we want a world free from police, prisons and politicians altogether... there is no stopping the kind of chaos we bring upon all those who cross our path."

The Arizona Department of Public Safety website was hacked twice, once last week and earlier this week.

Hackers strike Ariz. police sites again in apparent immigration law protest

The release of personal information of hundreds of Arizona police officers by a group of hackers on Thursday marks the third major release of documents and personal information on state law enforcement officials within the past week.

The group claims to have defaced 10 websites for different Fraternal Order of Police chapters within the state, posting the user names, passwords and other information of 1,200 officers, but only some of them remain that way. Others either quickly restored the sites or took them down while they addressed the issue.

As with the other released documents, the group claims to be protesting SB 1070, the controversial Arizona law targeting illegal immigrants. The first hack was done under the banner of LulzSec, a group that disrupted the U.S. Senate's website twice in recent weeks, knocked the CIA's website off line and hacked Sony several times, but they claimed to have disbanded on Saturday, their 50th day of existence.

Since then, a group calling itself AntiSec has taken up the cause, posting what it called a "master list" of everything that has been released so far.

Like the other releases, the list contains all the documents said to be available for download via peer-to-peer services. The group is claiming to have gone as far as releasing credit card and Paypal information for one of the officers in the one of the documents.

True to form in their manner of mocking their victims, a music video of the rap song Hazy Shade of Criminal by Public Enemy was posted at the top of each hacked page.

AntiSec claims to be an anarchist group working to "resist against the governments and corporations of the world."

The releases have consistently denounced the police as racist and corrupt.
