PHOENIX - Police on Friday released the identities of two men whose bodies were recently found in a desert area.

Authorities believe Abiel Adrian Brito-Labrador, 23, and Reymundo Cuevas-Gonzalez, 25, were killed in a different location and then dumped in a wash near 91st and Southern avenues. A passerby found their bodies Feb. 13.

Police have not released a cause of death, and no suspects have been identified.

Agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have aided the investigation. An ICE spokeswoman said two federal agents were recently assigned to Phoenix police's homicide unit.

Eloy Justice Court records for Brito-Labrador listed a home address in Concordia, in the Mexican state of Sinaloa.

No public records could be retrieved for Cuevas-Gonzalez.
