Men in rape case agree to deportation

Nashua - Four Mexican men accused of gang-raping a city woman in her West Hollis Street home have agreed to plead guilty to sexual assault charges and leave the county, court documents say.

Luis Aquino Garcia, 24, Omar Cecenas, 25, Raul Ibarra, 27, and Juan Vera, 23, were scheduled to go to trial Monday in Hillsborough County Superior Court on charges they groped and raped a 39-year-old woman in her home last year.

Instead, the four defendants decided to plead guilty and avoid a trial.

Ibarra, Cecenas, and Garcia agreed to not fight deportation back to Mexico, in exchange for a deferral of their five-to-ten-year state prison sentences for five years, court papers say.

Details surrounding Vera’s sentence were not available Friday. Vera was facing three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and two misdemeanor sexual assault charges.

Each of the four men had admitted to sexually assaulting the woman in her home the night of April 8, 2006.

The woman was acquainted with Cecenas but didn’t know the other men, who she had invited to her home, where she, her daughter and two of her daughter’s friends all were socializing.

After her daughter and friends left the room, the four men groped her and then held her down and raped her, according to court documents.

This is one time i disagree with immediate deportation. I say lock them up for 10 years then castrate them, and then send them back to Mexico.

I'd give these low lives, no not the lawyer and judge, the illegals about 1 month to return back to the USA, but with different names. Perhaps, we should start a football pool type of game we used to play at work (and some I'm sure still do), but only for how many of the illegals of a certain group that are arrested for a crime, and are arrested again within the USA and the winnings will go to the American victims. The gift ought to be a tax deduction under Bush's rule!

Well how stupid, they will be back with in a week if not sooner, how pathetic is this!!!

Every illegal alien convicted of a sex offence is automatically deported under the 1996 Immigration Control Act. They are being set free for rape and not serving any time. What is wrong with this prosecutor and judge??????? The wording is confusing. Will they be serving 5 years?

If they have family members here in the US, they will be right back here raping again.

I vote for stripping 'em neked, tying them down on top of a fire ant hole and covering them from head to toe with honey. Making sure to poor a little extra on certain spots.

If the same law applied to US citizens (being driven to Mexico and let out)... rape would be the most committed crime in America.

I wonder if Lou Dobbs has covered this?
