The Chamber of Representatives exorted that president Felipe Calderon condemn the construction of the border wall by the U.S. goverment and to request the government of George W. Bush and the American Congress to suspend its construction, since it affects the relations of Latin American nations.
In the ordinary session in the Legislative Palace of San Lazarus, it was approved unanimously in point in agreement in which to regulate the Execute branch and exhorted so that by the diplomatic conduits express to the U.S. government and Congress "a condemnation in the most energetic terms possible regarding the construction of the above-mentioned wall".
The proposal prompted by the representative Alfredo Adolfo Rios Camarena, of the PRI, argues that the border wall attempts against the most elementary human rights of the border inhabitants of both countries, as well as of the Latin-american migrants.
"The Chamber of Representatives requests the Executive branch to recommend the U.S. government and its Congress to suspend the construction of the wall, that affects the relations between Latin America and United States of America".
Likewise it is asked that Felipe Caleron to inform the Pan-american Commission of Human Rights of this pronouncement, so that with its attributions it emits a recommendation to United States, in order to adopt measures in favor of the human rights of the immigrants and harvests their respect.
"In the same manner, inform the Pan-american Court of Human Rights (CID) in order to avoid irreparable damages", concludes the agreement given to the Executive branch.

What does the wall have to do with human rights. WE have a human right to keep illegal mexicans out of our country. The Mexican govt should respect our country and our laws and quite sending their poor and criminals to our country. Tell them to quit trying to influence the way we run our country. Tell the Mexican government to take care of their own people so we don't have to.

Mexico and President Caleron's opposition to the fence is the greatest endorsement it will work!
It is the duty of a citizen not only to observe the law but to let it be known that he is opposed to its violation. (Calvin Coolidge)"Distrust and caution are the parents of security."

OMG, I would love to see that! As difficult as it may be to believe in today's crackpot PC climate, there was a time in our country's history when we would have done just that.
