Jesus Malverde was a legendary thief in Mexican folklore, possibly a historical figure or an amalgam, whose image has grown from a modest shrine in rural Mexico to a larger audience, carried north by Mexican criminals who believe trinkets portraying the patron saint of drug smuggling will protect them. (A belief which is very helpful for police, incidentally.)

Mexican marketing experts recently chose Malverde for a new beer identity because he was “the most recognizable and admired figure in focus groups.â€

It just makes me want to hug all those illegal alien Mexicans and support calls for their American citizenship. Who could want a better neighbor or community member? If your lucky, maybe those that deify the Mexican criminal will become members of your church and their children put into your children's school.

Anyone know where I can get some Malverde beer?

Tip of me hat ! I know i have a clean conscious . It's the Bush Crime Family and company along with our progressives that lie to sell us short . We have the values and they have the money . With the Illegals help they intend to starve us out . This is a Communist State we are now in .
