I watched this, and it was excellent!!! Byron Harris is a very experienced and first-rate investigative reporter! A shocking but very necessary expose!

This just makes me ill.
It would be very interesting to know just who 'owned' these companies and what connections they might have had to politicians here in America.
Actually, though, is it just me, but doesn't it seem absolutely ludicrous that we are making loans to Mexican businesses so our businesses can sell them merchandise?
This isn't free trade - it's insanity. I thought free trade was all about the US selling what other countries wanted, and buying what we wanted from other countries. I don't think we're making loans. More likely we're funneling money into NAU through front companies. Here's where it began as an "evironmental initiative" under Clinton. Bush made a changes later.

Implementation of the Border Environment Cooperation Commission and the North American Development Bank
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act, Public Law 103–182; 107 Stat. 2057 (‘‘NAFTA Implementation Act’’), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code, it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. The Agreement Between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the United Mexican States Concerning the Establishment of a Border Environment Cooperation Commission and a North American Development Bank (‘‘Agreement’’) shall be implemented consistent with United States policy for the protection of human, animal or plant life or health, and the environment. The Agreement shall also be implemented to advance sustainable development, pollution prevention, environmental justice, ecosystem protection, and biodiversity preservation and in a manner that promotes transparency and public participation in accordance with the North American Free Trade Agreement and the Agreement.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 533 of the North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act (19 U.S.C. 3473), it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Executive Order 12916 of May 13, 1994, is amended as follows:
(a) in section 1, by inserting ", as amended by the Protocol of Amendment done at Washington and Mexico City, November 25 and 26, 2002" after "North American Development Bank";Unemployment is not working.
