    Officials say the soldiers have been sent to both Matamoros and Reynosa. Officials say their heavy presence stems from the discovery of several bodies near Tampico.

    The military presence hasn't stopped violence in the state of Tamalipas. The latest act of violence happened Monday near the Reynosa highway. The mexican government won't confirm if anybody was killed or injured.

    No word on how long the soldiers will be stationed in the state. People we talked to says they hope the military presence will stay.
