Amnesty leaders OPPOSE Feinstein AgJobs Amendment.

    PARTIAL TRANSLATION FROM:
    http://www.diario.com.mx/nota.php?notai ... 30d0943fc2

"As a center, we do not support proposals like this, which, at first view seek to benefit the immigrants. We believe that this type of actions are, most of all, to import cheap labor and under an inhuman recruitment", declared Javier Pérez, spokesman for the Center of Agricultural Border Workers, based on El Paso. (Feinstein's amendment would freeze agriculture worker wages to those of 2007 and force them to work for 5 years. a.k.a. Slave labor)

"Besides it worries us that, for more than ten years 12 to 14 million undocumented workers have already been here, how do we guarantee them that their status is going to be resolved with these measures?, I do not believe it is convenient to go out in the light for five years so that finally they lose the little they have working for this country", added Pérez. (In other words: Why should illegals come out of the shadows for 5 years and then be deported after their visa expires?)

I knew that some Pro-illegal groups would oppose the Feinstein amendment. They want complete Amnesty now. I found it odd that I did not receive an e-mail alert from the United Farm Workers or La Raza asking to support this amnedment. A logical explanation is that this amendment is spliting the open border groups. Some of their followers want the 5 year visa expecting to receive amnesty after that, others want assurances that amnesty will be given because the amendment does not guarantee a path to citizenship and also think that slave labor is too high of a price to pay for false hope.

Whatever the reasons, the pro-illegal groups are not supporting the AgJobs Amendment.

If a alien has a legal visa card for 5 years, that person can apply for citizenship. So they go from temporary to permanent. This AgJob visa program not only covers the workers but wives and children and heaven knows what other family members. What will be their first objective--have a baby born in the U.S. to strengthen U.S. ties.

Am thrilled the amnesty seekers oppose Feinstein's amendment.

While lurking at the Dreamie site last night, all were disappointed it didn't include a dream act--one threatened to join ALIPAC so he/she could oppose the AgJob amendment!

Notice how the number used to be 12 million illegals in this country and now, even the pro-illegal invader groups are bumping up that figure to perhaps 14 million illegals here in this country, which likely is still woefully underestimated.
