MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico's Social Development Secretariat said Thursday it has offered to set up business-development offices in the largest Mexican consulates in the United States to help migrants invest in their home country.

Sixx says: All the money they send home and this fool wants to let them invest in their home country.

The offer was made by Social Development Secretary Josefina Vazquez during a meeting with Mexican expatriate groups in Chicago, Illinois.

Sixx says: Now they are expatriates Not illegal immigrants, not criminal tresspassers. EXPATRIATES. Judy, what is an expatriate in it's non-adultrated form?

"Mexican businessmen and migrants in the United States can create productive projects, create jobs and improve the standard of living in their home communities," the agency said in a press statement.

During a meeting with migrant clubs and chamber of commerce leaders, Vazquez promised to set up investment advisory offices in the consulates in Washington D.C., Chicago and Los Angeles.

She also said that the government development bank, the Mexican departments of Treasury, Economy and Agriculture would work together to streamline approval and permit processes for migrant investments.

Sixx says: Hey, why not invest in your people in Mexico while they are there?

There will be special attention paid to helping migrants with construction projects in Mexico. One of the major areas of investment at present is migrants' building homes in their native land.
