Mexican Senators To Visit UNC Charlotte Monday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- North Carolina has the fastest growing Latino Population in the country, with most of the states newest residents arriving from Mexico according to Migration Information Source.
Senators representing the Mexican Federal Government will visit the UNC Charlotte campus on Monday and deliver a one-day presentation on immigration, environment and health issues.
Sponsored by the Department of Language and Culture Studies and the Latin American Studies program, the Senators will present a lecture in McKnight Hall in the University's Cone Center from 10 a.m. to noon.
The event is free and open to the public.
