MEXICANS BLAME AMERICANS FOR 'DEATH TRAIN'

Complaint filed against U.S. owners of 'Beast' hauling illegals

NEW YORK – The infamous Mexican “Death Train” – also called “La Bestia” ["The Beast'] – on which tens of thousands of illegal alien children from Central America are traveling through Mexico to the United States – is being targeted by criminal complaints from Mexican authorities for allegedly violating the civil rights of passengers.

The Beast is owned and run by a Mexican wholly owned subsidiary of Kansas City Southern, a U.S. train company that acquired the Mexican equipment and routes in 2005 to create a “NAFTA Railroad” that was intended to fit into a multi-modal transportation technology so Chinese companies could deliver products into the heartland of the United States as an alternative to utilizing the West Coast ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

Mexican prosecutors have filed criminal complaints charging railroad with complicity in violations of the civil rights of the thousands of unaccompanied minors from Central America illegally hitching rides on the train in their efforts to cross into the U.S. over the border with Mexico.

That flood has surged over the last few months, and critics of President Obama say it’s being encouraged by his program to defer deportation proceedings for young illegal aliens, suggesting to them that if they are able to cross into the United States, housing, education, medical and even legal assistance await.

As reported at the time, Kansas City Southern (KCS, NYSE: KSU) completed on April 1, 2005, the acquisition of Mexican Railroad TFM, S.A. de C.V., an acquisition that gained for KCS all the common stock of Groupo Transportacion Ferrovaria Mexicana, S.A. de C.V., the holding company that owned TFM.

The 2005 KCS acquisition of the Mexican railroad occurred under the broad canopy of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, first announced by President George W. Bush in a meeting with the president of Mexico and the prime minister of Canada, held in Waco, Texas, on March 23, 2005.

In December 2005, KCS changed the name of TFM to Kansas City Southern de Mexico (KCSM), a key piece in putting together the “NAFTA Railroad,” a marketing brand KCS at that time used to describe its North American rail service bringing together KCSM in Mexico and the Kansas City Southern Railroad (KCSR) in the United States.

In 2006, WND reported that Kansas City Southern plans in creating a “NAFTA Railroad” sought to link Mexican deep-water port Lazaro Cardenas as an alternative route for Chinese product shipping containers to enter the United States through Mexico, instead of through the West Coast ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

The plans would use KCSSM and KCS multi-modal railroad links to transport the Chinese consumer goods to a Mexican government customs office operated by Mexico as part of what then was being designed as the Kansas City Inland Port, or SmartPort.

But in a press report from Veracruz, Mexico, dated March 31, 2014, the attorney general of the Gulf Coast state of Veracruz, Luis Ángel Bravo Contreras, filed a criminal complaint with federal prosecutors against the U.S. railway Kansas City Southern and Ferrosur, a Mexican rail line that operates the “Death Train” in the central part of Mexico.

The charges are that the railroad companies were complicit in the commission of various crimes against migrants jumping on the train for a ride to the Mexican border, including the crimes of robbery, human trafficking, kidnapping, murder and extortion.
A map produced by the Jesuit Migrant Service of Mexico and reprinted by the Washington Office of Latin America, WOLA, a Washington-based NGO [Non-Governmental Organization] aimed at protecting immigrant civil rights, demonstrates train routes into Texas are the shortest route for Central American unaccompanied minors to enter the United States through Mexico.

As seen in the KCSM route map below, the eastern cargo railroad lines in Mexico are KCSM owned and operated, with a New York Times publication dated May 10, 2014, providing additional confirmation that “La Bestia” is run by Ferrosur and Kansas City Southern de Mexico, KCSM.

A WOLA report issued June 17, 2014, described the difficulty illegal immigrants taking “La Bestia” north as follows:
“Migrants in the southern border zone are drawn to ‘La Bestia,’ the train that heads northward to central Mexico and then on to the U.S. border. For hundreds of miles they ride on the roofs of the train cars trying to avoid fatal falls, hot days, frigid nights, and low-clearance tunnels. Every eight to ten days or so, trains depart from two routes that originate near the southern border.”

Not only is the ride physically dangerous, WOLA noted, but the lax security on “La Bestia” leaves migrants at the mercy of Mexican gangs, bandits, kidnapers and corrupt officials.

“The stunning frequency of kidnapping, extortion, human trafficking, rape, and homicide puts Central American migrants’ plight in Mexico atop the list of the Western Hemisphere’s worst humanitarian emergencies,” the WOLA report concluded.

American Company Faces Charges Over 'Death Train' Used by Illegals

Mexican prosecutors have filed charges against the American company that owns the train used by illegal immigrant children to travel through Mexico to the U.S. border, World Net Daily reports.

The so-called "Death Train" or "La Bestia" ("The Beast") has been used by people from Central America for years to travel hundreds of miles through Mexico to the United States.

The current flow of children now flooding the Border Patrol system are using the train as well.

CNN reported on the freight train in 2010, saying its nickname comes from the fact that many people fall from the train to their deaths along the way. They ride on the tops and in between cars.

Some are maimed when they fall or fail to secure a hold when trying to board as the train is moving and are run over.

Mexican officials charge that the riders also face human foes. Gangs and corrupt police rape women and girls or rob and hold the riders for ransom. The complain says the train company is complicit in these attacks.

The "Death Train" is owned by a Mexican subsidiary of Kansas City Southern.
Kansas City Southern bought Mexican Railroad TFM, S.A. de C.V. in 2005, dubbing it the "NAFTA Railroad." Its intent was to provide an alternative shipping route for Chinese goods into the United States without using the California ports in Los Angeles and Long Beach.

According to WND, Luis Ángel Bravo Contreras, attorney general of the Mexican state of Veracruz, filed a criminal complaint against Kansas Southern and Mexican rail line Ferrosur, claiming complicity in the mistreatment of "Death Train" riders.

Trains leave two stations headed north every eight to 10 days, according to the private group Washington Office of Latin America.

The issue has become a political liability for President Barack Obama, who has been facing critics from Republicans and some Democrats who say he has not taken the border crisis seriously enough.

Border Patrol Agent: Diseases Coming in We Haven’t Seen in Decades

    Tim Brown 1 hour ago

Another Border Patrol Agent is speaking out on the influx of diseases being brought into the United States by illegal aliens crossing the border. Vice President of the Border Patrol Union Chris Cabrea told Fox News host Martha MacCallum, "We're having a lot of diseases coming in and some we haven't seen in decades."

Cabrea said that it's been hard to see many of the kids coming in after the journey they've been on and then on top of that to witness the diseases they are bringing with them. In fact, he reiterated what Ron Zermeno said regarding Border Patrol Agents coming down with many of these diseases themselves, including Scabies. Cabrea said that recently one Border Patrol Agent contracted bacterial pnuemonia, while others were getting head lice.

When asked what he thinks needs to be done, Cabrea said that there must be "Mandatory detention and mandatory removal which should send a clear message that we are sending you back and we're not going to let you stay here."

"Once that happens, then I think the floodgates will stop," said Cabrea.

When MacCallum asked why Cabrea thought there was a great influx now of foreigners, he said, "I think what we're looking at is 'word of mouth' advertising. People believe that there is a defacto amnesty that if they get here, they'll be allowed to stay, and they're exploiting a loophole in the system, and frankly, they are doing it quite well."

Indeed they are, but it's more than that. There are the goodies that the Federal government has been pushing, in conjunction with the Mexcian government, at tax payer expense. We have seen how the food stamp program has been advanced to the Hispanic community in Mexico and the US.

While there are many hard working immigrants and Hispanic Americans, there are also many who come to take advantage of the system. It isn't relegated to Hispanics though, a variety of ethnicities are partaking in social welfare. However, it is documented that the federal government has openly advertised the welfare program to those in Central America, and even Congressmen are acknowledging that Barack Obama is using this to overwhelm the system. Obviously, he's doing it with the Cloward and Piven strategy for an predicted end result.

Cabrea said that the agents are frustrated with Obama. "We would like to see him come down here and take a first hand look for himself as to what's going on, the people in the cells. It's heartbreaking to see some of the things we see down here on a daily basis."

When MacCullum asked Cabrea why he didn't think Obama would come, he said he had no idea. Obviously, Obama says he doesn't want a "photo-op," which everyone knows is a lie, but the reality is that he isn't concerned with the situation at all. In fact, the less he does about it, the more the Cloward and Piven strategy works… and, of course, there is that little thing about $3.7 billion in taxpayer money, which won't be used to do anything about either security or disease.

In contrast, Cabrea said, "Governor Perry is doing a excellent job….He seems to have a clear grasp of what's going on. He seems to get it and he seems to have some good ideas as to how to fix this issue."

"The border patrol is trying to play catch up… and we're having a lot of diseases coming in and some we haven't seen in decades and we are worried they'll spread rapidly throughout the United States, especially if they are being released and have the disease."

Indeed, that is an issue, especially when many of these people are being allowed on commercial airliners and traveling across the US to different points, such as Boston, Murietta and New Mexico, but make no mistake about it, this has all been planned and orchestrated.

I have a dreadful feeling that once school begins that many American families will receive a very rude wake-up call! I pray it does not happen, but I even wonder if we are prepared with even enough flu vaccine, let alone the others.
