Legal Immigrants Wary Of UndocumentedOppose 'Special Treatment'
Apr. 11 - KGO - They may not be out in force or protesting as loudly, but their opinion is just as strong -- legal immigrants who waited years to come to America who are unwilling to let some 11 million people jump to the head of the immigration line.
Just blocks away from the protest marches, you'll find people with a very different point of view on illegal immigration. Many people who came here legally say they didn't get special treatment, so they don't think those who crossed the border illegally should.
Boris came to the U.S. legally from Belarus 17-years ago, and he has little sympathy for undocumented immigrants.
Boris: "If we don't want to follow rules, why should we follow other rules? There should be something common."
Yeh Ling Ling of Orinda is also an immigrant. She became a U.S. citizen 20-years ago, and is now the executive director for the organization A Sustainable America.
Yeh Ling Ling, Diversity Alliance for a Sustainable America: "We have cut so many programs that affect legal immigrant children and American-born children. It doesn't make sense to provide billions of dollars a year to provide services for illegal aliens."
There are an estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S., and there's no question they've become a key component of the economy. They produce nine-percent of the goods and services in this country -- about $970 billion worth.
Even so, Yeh believes it's time for tougher immigration laws.
Yeh Ling Ling, Diversity Alliance for a Sustainable America: "We should enforce immigration laws and pass new laws to make it illegal to grant benefits to illegal aliens."
As for Boris, he wants to take it a step further.
Lilian Kim, ABC7 News: "Should we let them stay, the ones who are already here?"
Boris: "Probably not."
Lilian Kim, ABC7 News: "Do you think they should go back home?"
Boris: "Yes."
Striking the right balance in Washington is crucial in gaining political support from Latinos. They helped President Bush win reelection two years ago when he picked up more than 40 percent of their vote.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Time to Saddle the Horses and Cowboy Up !!
It's past time for ALL LEGAL Americans to stand up and be heard.
Our governtment should not be the lapdogs of illegal aliens.
Our politicians need to be reminded of their Oaths of Office.
Then they should be tried and hung for treason - to wit:
1. Violating their Oaths of Office
2. Subverting the LAWs of our Country.
VIGILANTE ?? NO !!
Just an American who once swore an oath to protect our
nation against all enemies - both foreign and domestic.
Remember - April 17th 2006 -- A Day Without Americans.
Do Not Go To Work
Do Not Buy Anything
Today We March !!
Tomorrow We WILL Fight !!
