    Mexico Announces Stimulus Package

    11:46 a.m. March 3, 2008

MEXICO CITY – President Felipe Calderón announced a 60-billion-peso ($5.6 billion) package of tax breaks, utility-rates discounts and spending programs Monday to help Mexico's economy weather the slowdown in the U.S. economy.
Companies will get a 3 percent income tax break for the next five months and 10- to 20-percent electricity rate reductions, as well as credit from development banks and an increase in infrastructure spending to help them overcome the effects of what Calderón called “an adverse international environment.â€

If Mexico's system is so soild -- financial and otherwise -- then why are Calderon's countrymen fleeing by the millions to sneak into the United States.

I wonder if Calderon would make a speech for us and say, "Hey, these American migrants are JUST GOOD PEOPLE coming across the border to
get a little job to put food on the table, and it's cheaper for them here!"

Further proof the U.S. does NOT need to give Mexico $1.4 billion for the Merida Initiative (anti-drug aid/stimulus package)

Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother
