The biggest problem America has is having a less than 3rd world country next door to us with a government that has been corrupt since it was first formed.

Let's get something else straight, I have been to Mexico (as well a most other Latin American countries) many times in my life. America certainly isn't the only country consuming these drugs. Every time I have gone to Mexico I have seen many cocaine and heroin addicts stating on the streets either high or trying to get money for their next fix. You certainly don't see this in America. Mexico certainly needs to worry about cleaning up their own corrupt, drugged out mess or a country.

That's like the pot calling the kettle colors
    Big Business wants cheap labor,
    Politicians want more votes.
Americans just want a job that pays a living wage.

MW AND OTHERS, JUST TO LET YOU KNOW SOMETHING:

MY EX HUSBAND DIED A SLOW DEATH DUE TO HEROIN ABUSE.
ITS ON HIS DEATH CERTIFICATE: HISTORY OF HEROIN ABUSE.

HIS BROTHER DIED OF COCAINE ABUSE, IT LITERALLY BLEW OUT HIS HEART. HE DIED OF A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK.

MY SISTER DIED YEARS AGO BECAUSE OF A POISONED DRUG CALLED DARVON. THIS WAS BACK IN THE LATE SEVENTIES.

    NO, I WOULDN'T ADVOCATE LEGALIZATION.

I BELIEVE POT IS LESS HARMFUL THAN ALCOHOL. I DON'T CONDONE EITHER THOUGH.

NO EASY ANSWERS. THE ONLY FAST HARD ANSWER IS DEPORT ILLEGALS AND CLOSE THE BOARDERS.

I think it would really benefit Mexico if they built a 30' tall steel fence with barbed wire at the top so drug cartels wont be able to come over the border and sell drugs to their "biggest consumer".

Ahh but then their entire economy would collapse. Calderon just wants us to keep giving them money to "fight" the drug cartels.

Exactly! Give us more money so we can put more US dollars in our pockets. Calderon is just as bad as these cartels he claims he is fighting.
