Hospitals should be 'SAFE ZONES' for patients...not illegal aliens with stolen SS cards!!!

This act makes it a felony to use or transfer the identity (including the SSN) of another person. [/b]Last year, the act was used to successfully prosecute a Wisconsin man for stealing the identity of a Chicago man (he used the man's SSN to get a job that enabled him to steal computer equipment and open bank accounts and file income taxes in the victim's name). He pled guilty and faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in jail (followed by three years of probation) and a fine of up to $250,000.

I would love for hospitals to be a "safe zone" as well. "Safe" from the destruction that hoards of illegal invaders cause when they use emergency rooms as their source of primary care, knowing full well they will not be responsible for the bill!

The "fair" way to handle the use of false or stolen SS numbers or ID is heavy prosecution. Very heavy.

Are hospitals in a class by themselves regarding immigrants?

No they are not. And that is why this one chose to do the right thing, Hope it sets an example.

The hospital should not even be involved this mess, Mr. Carlos Q. She was applying at Luby's restaurant, a franchisee, like probably many others, located in the hospital. She would be drawing her paycheck from Luby's. Now, please quit bending things to your own end

I would like a hospital to be a safe zone for me so I could get prompt medical care without standing in line behind a hoard of freeloading illegals. Overcrowding in our local hospital has lead to serious quality of care issues, as all staff, nurses and doctors are overwhelmed and stressed.

And if we’re to look at most companies, you’d find there’s a significant number that close their eyes and ignore the question of false documents.

And that, my friend, is exactly why we need full enforcement across the board!!

People that commit illegal acts aren't afforded the luxury of defining, or even helping to define, which rules apply to them and under which circumstances.
If you are a criminal, there is no 'safe harbor' from prosecution or even minor inconveniences.
