Mexico Demands US to End Weapon Traffic

Mexico Demands US to End Weapon Traffic

Mexico, Jan 9 (Prensa Latina) Mexico demanded US Wednesday to close the border to the ever increasing traffic of weapons, delivered to Mexican traffickers.

The demand was made by Mexican Foreign Affairs Ministry high officials after the impact of the bloody confrontations between federal forces and traffickers in the last days, during which traffickers showed a great firing power.

Mexican Foreign Affairs Vice Minister for North America Carlos Rico regarded the fighting capacity of organized crime as surprising, and said it was a result of the transfer of grenades, rocket and grenade launchers and other weapons from the US.

"Mexico contributes by avoiding the entrance to the US of those items they do not want inside the country, and because of that, we ask now they should make operations in a north to south direction," he said.

Rico demanded the strict application of the weapon export legislation by Washington in moments in which this kind of trade evidently increased, and mortal casualties among members of the Mexican federal police were registered.

Mexican Foreign Ministry Sub Secretary for Multilateral Affairs Juan Manuel Gomez recognized the existence of identification by the Mexican authorities of weapons coming from the US.

In his statements he said US has not ratified the Inter American Convention against Illegal Traffic and Production of Fire Arms.

We could take advantage of this, ask for the enforcement AND "beef up" the reverse inspections.

LOL We have the PERFECT EXCUSE FOR THE REVERSE INSPECTIONS. The Mexican Gov't asked us to STOP.

THEN we should notify that for every illegal stopped and/or detained, we put a bounty on the Mexican Gov't.

AFTER ALL THEY NEED PROVIDE US WITH SOME RELIEF IN THE BURDEN THE ILLEGALS CAUSE ON OUR COUNTRY (Mexico doesn't need $$$$$$, they can do their part to help combat crime PERIOD
