If you’re looking for my report on the $1.4 billion Mexican stimulus/border security funding package mentioned by Rush Limbaugh this afternoon, it’s here: http://michellemalkin.com/2008/02/11/th ... or-mexico/ And there’s a follow-up here on the state of our border fence: http://michellemalkin.com/2008/02/12/14 ... our-fence/

Make sure you ask your congressional representatives if they know what the hell is going on.

Capitol switchboard: 202-224-3121.

Mexican president Felipe Calderon, who is pushing the plan, continues to lambaste America as a racist country: http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080212/D8UOH1CG2.html , even as he holds out his hand waiting for his billions.

It gets worse.

Calderon is refusing any conditions on the money. Via a flashback from December from the Border Blog:

[quote]The U.S. Congress is offering $1.4 BILLION of taxpayer money to the corrupt nation of Mexico with the hope that it will be used in that country’s war on drug cartels. It’s quite a generous sum of money, and one would think that any nation receiving these funds would be grateful to the American people.

But not Mexico.

In an UNBELIEVABLE statement, Calderon reacted to the possibility that there might be some conditions on the donation as follows:

“I cannot accept any submission or subordination…Give it to me. And give it to me without conditions!â€
