Mexico: Migrant traffickers renting buses for rapid passages

Mexican authorities say migrant traffickers have adopted a new trick to smuggle Central American clients to the U.S. border: renting high-end tour buses

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican authorities say migrant traffickers have adopted a new trick to smuggle Central American clients to the U.S. border: renting high-end tour buses.

Mexico's Immigration Institute says it has found 102 migrants on two buses being used to whisk them across the length of the country.

The migrants reported paying between $7,000 and $10,000 to go from an area near the Guatemalan border to Reynosa, a city across from McAllen, Texas.

The institute said Monday that because the traffickers wanted to move quickly, they had not stopped to get the migrants food or water for two days.

In the past, smugglers have frequently crammed migrants into hidden compartments in freight trucks while transporting them through the country.

They can pay 7,000 to 10,000 but haven't got enough to apply the money for filing to come here legally. These people are not poor if they can afford to pay this much most likely the money came from illegals working in the USA and sending untaxed US dollars to family members in Mexico. While living here collecting foodstamps, free healthcare and subsidized housing and saving their money.

Exactly. They're all funded by the drug cartels. That's how these outrageous smuggling and coyote fees are paid for. I hope people connect these dots soon. Everything to do with illegal immigration is backed, promoted, funded, by and for the benefit of the drug cartels behind it and the governments they own. Everything.

Could someone please tell me how all these poor, poverty stricken migrants manage to have thousands of dollars
in their pockets to pay smugglers?

If they have that much cash 'assets' in hand then I guess life is not so bad where ever they come from.

Poor people borrow money from their relatives, friends, neighbors or the local cartel to pay for their trip. They have to send money back to Mexico to repay their loans or bad things can happen to the relatives they left behind.

Rapidly load up Military C130's and deport them right back where they came from!!!
