Mexico to plan strategy against Sensenbrenner bill
By Natalia Gómez Quintero
In a meeting to be held Thursday, January 5, with Mexico’s ambassador to the United States, Carlos A. de Icaza, and Mexican consuls from throughout the U.S., Secretary of Foreign Relations Luis Ernesto Derbez will refine the final details regarding the secretariat’s countervailing strategy against the effects of the anti-immigrant debate that is taking place in the United States.
Just weeks before the U.S. Senate will reexamine the anti-immigrant law that was approved by the U.S. House of Representatives last December 16, the Mexican diplomats will receive instructions in order to act in a coordinated manner towards defeating the proposed law, that among other things proposes construction of a wall on the border between Mexico and the U.S.
The Border and Immigration Enforcement Act of 2005 that was approved by the lower house of Congress would view undocumented immigrants, and employers who hire them, as “criminals. It does not take into consideration a program to normalize an estimated 11 million undocumented people in the U.S., 5 million of them Mexicans.
The U.S. Senate will present its own version of the bill in late January, with two proposals: one that includes a program to normalize undocumented residents, and another that supports a guest workers’ plan.
Ambassador De Icaza said that the Mexican government, the foreign ministry, and the Mexican Embassy in Washington, D.C., have stayed in contact with different levels of government – The White House, State Department, and with members of Congress, pointing out to them the urgent need for an integral advance on migration matters. It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

So if this story is accurate, the US Senate is going to choose between amnesty and amnesty light.
Hopefully, many of them will soon be occupied worrying about facing jail time for accepting bribes. It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

If only Mexico would devote as much energy and resources on fixing their own political system and economy, than on meddling with our government, then maybe a full 10% of their population wouldn't need to invade our country for jobs, free public services, education, criminal enterprises, etc. But this really shows their true agenda, it's not about the human rights of their citizens, if they were concernd about that they would offer more help to their own people.
It's very plain to see:
Having the millions of illegals working here sending back to their economy BILLIONS of dollars every year makes them richer, while not having to fork out the money to feed, house, educate, provide medical care, jail, etc. their own citizens. THe truly baffling things is why our Govt. sits back and silently takes this guff from these third world, corrupt idiots.

Simple solution. Stop all bank wire transfers to Mexico without a 10 day waiting period to investigate the complete legality of the source of funds. I'd volunteer to do the work for free. Any helpers?
