A number of unhappy Republican state delegates had a private meeting with Gov. Gary Herbert on Tuesday, asking him to veto a comprehensive immigration reform bill on his desk or face an organized drive to oust him from office in the 2012 election.

David Kirkham, who is largely credited with mobilizing tea party types in Utah for Sen. Mike Lee’s eventual victory over former Sen. Bob Bennett, said that if Herbert signs HB116 into law, Herbert’s tenure will be in serious jeopardy.

“I think the election begins the day he signs it,â€

This Is a very good sign for us I don't see how he can possibly sign this thing with all of the mounting pressure from DELEGATES from his own party. If he signs this HE's GONE....

If he signs this bill he is done in 2012 and maybe sooner, the people in that room have the power to end his career and they are going to do it. I for one would favor a recall election to really send this RINO sellout a message that won't soon be forgotten. He is signing his own political death warrant if he signs this. There is widespread outrage about this.

Instead of doing immigration reforms without federal approval, Utah should be focusing on how they're going to get rid of the 100,000 illegals living in the state and replacing them with pre-screened, legal immigrants or even better, replacing them with thousands of unemployed Utahns.

Any person who puts illegal immigrants a head of American citizens should not expect to receive votes from citizens, because it will not happen!!!

Hey ALIPAC instead of phone calls and faxes use the "donations" to get the ball rolling on a million man/woman march on the White House, get buses lined up like the mexicans do, secure lodging, events, food etc and let's go DEMAND the government END this mess now, not tomorrow, next year, next week NOW.

I like what you guys do but it's ineffective, I've been a member 6 years and have seen no change in the US except this ,

MORE are here now and having babies than ever before.

Once again I have respect for ALIPAC but unless we get half the country on the lawn at the White House demanding change the same things will just continue while they have more anchor babies.

The government is corrupt pure and simple both sides.

They are only pretending to do something about illegal immigrants, just enough to say they did, while still allowing millions to walk on our soil with impunity!

We need to be there in full force/peaceful though at minimum a million of us in Barry's front yard, we need to compartmentalize our groups with various names and activities as to not give to much away before the illegals and the supporters try and sabotage things, we need to talk in PMs instead of posting plans, etc

Then we alert the media.

All of them NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, MSN, CNN as well as flood the web with everything! Every chat room, every message board, You tube, facebook, My Space etc EVERYTHING THAT RUNS OFF OF ELECTRICITY WE NEED TO HIT ALL AT THE SAME TIME!

The media is as corrupt as the government but they wont ignore this The media is a manipulator of minds. Lets use that. We can post the types of videos, information, photos etc and manipulate the hits etc which will draw more into our folds.

Live and in their faces in front of all America. We need to do this to get the states "afraid" of doing the right thing to get on board all at once as well as "people" that are "afraid" to march against criminals, all at once!

The politicians cater to whoever makes the most noise pure and simple.

We can do this, we need to do this, short of all out violence, all the phone calls and faxes in the world will not change the corruptness of our government, they ARE NOT going to stop or remove the flood of illegal immigrants.

Unless we call them out, live in front of the world, where they can't run, hide or make excuses.

I think everyone would donate/pitch in in every way imaginable as one to get this done, but sitting here in front of a PC is not going to change a thing as absolutely, utterly corrupt as the government/big businesses in the US are.

I would donate, time, money food and labor,and I'm sure if we tried we could find a million more to do the same.

Lets blow their minds catch them off guard with their $500 dollar pants down and actually get this done.

It does not take years to clear these people out and get US back to work.

You're right, onetrickydude, but this is my conclusion after 6 years of fighting this travesty as well:

The US government won't ever solve the issue of illegal immigration. It will under Republicans take some steps like making E-verify mandatory and streamlining deportations and we may even have a President some day again who will stand with US, but the practical solution to illegal immigration hearings is with the states.

The states have the manpower to solve the problem utilizing their 800,000 sworn, trained and ready police officers and massive court system.

You are correct Judy THEY ARE NOT TRYING OR GOING TO stop anything

they are going to ----

1. Make excuses ('')

2. Things like suing Americans to aid and abet illegal immigrants ('')

3. LIE ('')

4. STALL while the illegals have millions upon millions of anchor babies.j ('')

If they would -

1.End all entitlements, all of them everything school, medical, food stamps, section 8, interpreters of any sort any where, things printed in English ONLY, no more WIC, Planned Parenthood, everything, everything., everything.

2.Put the employers IN PRISON pure and simple at least a year and huge fines, enforce it like they manage to do for DUIs, Speeding etc (you know the laws that make them money)

4.End ALL immigration until this is done, as well as lower the numbers of all immigrants AND even out the numbers by race. You can't let 20 million of ANY one race in.

What they are doing is just that "EXCEPT" any type of Caucasians! (numbers don't lie)



I bet even money that if it were 20 million Caucasians from wherever this administration would get it in gear immediately!
