Mexico Responds To Gov. Richardson's Decision To Tighten Border Security

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- It was on Wednesday that New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson decided to tighten up security along the state’s border in response to the death of Arizona rancher Robert Krentz. Richardson went as far as calling for the New Mexico National Guard.

It didn't long for Mexican officials to respond saying they respect the governor's decision but would like more cooperation from the U.S., especially in stepping up efforts to stop the smuggling of drugs and guns into Mexico.
