“In Chicago and in communities across the country, Americans are also organizing to undermine the deportation force coming to break up families,” he said. “We cannot sit by as our government comes for parents, puts children in foster care and takes a meat ax to the trust built up over years between the police and the communities they protect and serve.”
They aren't "coming for parents" ... they're coming for illegal aliens who have broken the law. Being a parent has nothing to do with it. Most adults are parents and have children. That doesn't place you in a special place within the law or above the law.

American law enforcement only puts children in foster care when their parents are arrested and detained for their well-being if there's no one else in the home to take care of them when the parents are arrested. This is the same thing that happens to Americans, every day.

But on this issue, when illegal aliens are arrested, the children if illegal aliens should be detained with them, m, and if born here, they should be put in foster care until the parents are deported and at the time of deportation rejoined with the parents and removed from the country with their natural legal guardians and other siblings where applicable. No child left behind.

As to the "trust" built up between police officers and illegal aliens, excuse me, but there should be no "trust" between law enforcement and illegal aliens. What is going on here? Why would municipal law enforcement be building up "trust" between police officers and illegal aliens? Police offices should be aiding and helping the federal government and people of the United States deport illegal aliens, not building up some special "trust" relationship with people in our country in violation of US immigration law. The very notion is absurd on its face! So why is this going on? Oh wait, I know. They need "trust" and protection to run drugs.

So "trust" = PROTECTION

We don't want municipal police officers in the United States protecting criminals and/or illegal aliens with "trust". What's going on here is the oldest game in the books, "You scratch my back, and I'll line your pockets."

Until Americans face the horrific fact that drug cartels own many of our state and local law enforcement agencies because they own the Mayors and politicians in those cities, counties and states, we're not going to be able to solve this problem to the degree we want and need.
