Illegal alien arrested in Grand Blanc Township

GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, Michigan — Police arrested an illegal alien March 31 at 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Dort Highway and Maple Road.

Police stopped the vehicle after watching it cross over the center line and after approaching learned that the passenger had no identification and could not speak English.

Police contacted the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency and ICE official spoke the individual, who was from Honduras. The ICE officer said the man gave him a false identity. He was lodged at the Grand Blanc Township Police Department and picked up at about 4 a.m. by an ICE officer.
