OGDEN — An investigation into a drug-dealing operation ended in a search of three homes, four arrests and the discovery of $65,000 in drugs Thursday.

The investigation began eight months ago, after investigators received information about a drug-dealing operation being run out of an Ogden home, said Weber Morgan Narcotics Strike Force commander Darin Parke. He said the investigation, which also involved the FBI and Drug Enforcement Agency, started at one home but then expanded.

The investigation culminated in 30 officers serving three search warrants on three separate homes located at 490 N. 933 East, 739 E. 950 North and 671 E. 1100 North in Ogden.

From these homes, officers seized more than a pound of methamphetamine, with a street value of $60,000, a quarter-pound of cocaine worth $5,000, around $18,000 in cash and two handguns.

Officers arrested three men and one woman, ranging in age from 27 to 36, for investigation of a number of crimes, including forgery, possession of meth and cocaine with intent to distribute in a drug-free zone, officials said.

The four arrested are in the country illegally and are currently being held for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
