MI: Road Commission to use Web immigration system
Road Commission to use Web immigration system
December 23, 2010
The Road Commission for Oakland County in March will begin using the federal E-Verify Program, an Internet-based system that allows employers to determine the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
E-verification also allows employers to confirm new contracts with consultants and vendors doing business with the Road Commission comply with immigration laws.

It's about time! Last year someone put an ad in the local newspaper in Spanish looking for people who would clean snow from store parking lots! I called the number, alright, and gave them a piece of my mind!

I can hear it now... "ohh you can't use E-Verify its racist!"... but yah we all know being against illegals is racist against hispanics. If they only understood enough english to know all they are saying is all hispanics are illegals and lawbreakers (which is not true). Idiocy with illegals I tell yah.
