Thread: Miller Beer does it again with ridiculous sponsorship

Hello All,
I did a search and didn't find this story. I think its relevant info considering we are boycotting Miller Beer. I am only going to post the link to the story because it has some adult content that may be hard to explain to the little ones. If you are easily offended don’t click the link, Ya its that bad. I simply don’t understand the logic of this companies marketing!

I hear you; I felt the need to sanitize my monitor and keyboard after reading that story. Its just down right disgusting what they are doing in SF and to use religion to bolster their cause is very disturbing. Shame on Miller!

You know it’s a shame. Geographically SF is a beautifully city but it has been on a steady decline since the late 60’s and I fear Seattle another beautiful city is not far behind.

Last Christmas my best friend, my son and I went into the city looking for an Irish food shop to surprise my hubby with a few favorites he misses. we took a wrong turn and ended up at the Castro in time for the Santa Claus parade. I have never been so glad in my life that my son was asleep in the back. It was nauseating. I am sure Santa never really wore high healed pumps, fishnets and a corset.

How in the world could a parent explain this behavior to an innocent child that once a year dreams and idolizes the good magic we know as Santa? As a father of a young'n it would be hard for me to remain in control in a situation like that!

We were two women and a two year old, whom thank the Lord was asleep. We just got out of there as quickly as we could. Next time we go to the city, I am arming myself with google maps and I am driving.
