The link I gave you is to another student opinion but it is positive .. that's why I said he probably won't return your e-mail. It will probably be read and maybe even replied to. In fact, we should invite Ian to "chat" with us .. since he favors MMP. There's no e-mail for him on the page but I did put the address for the editor of the UT's student daily. He can probably be reached through that.

We have what some of you have referred to as "the moron" and then we have a bright student at UT named Ian who wrote a favorable piece on MMP.

Oh. I thought you were referring to the mindless zombie that was spewing the nonsense about the same old feeding your families line that the OBL and Senor Bush use all the time. That's where my comment was directed too. Ian sounds like a cool cat. I have no problem with him.

Ian did use that ... that was the only quibble I had with his opinion piece.

Someone needs to advise the sorely uneducated Arthur Martori that around here, the minimum hourly wage ranges from $10-$16. Further, the sorely uneducated Arthur Martori needs to know the reason they are able to survive on such low wages is large numbers of them subsist like rats in one or two-bedroom substandard apartments. Further, the sorely uneducated Arthur Martori needs to know that around here, they pay no income tax, no medical expenses and of course, if they have children, no expenses to educate them.

And of course the sorely uneducated Arthur Martori needs also to realize that if they paid these major things, including automobile insurance, inspections, license tags, and complied with city codes and residency requirements, they'd need much more. Those that need much more, US citizens in other words, would love to have those low paying jobs.

The sorely uneducated Arthur Martori seems to have been another victim of a progressive left wing academia. sheesh.
