Oregon - Protest at Wendy's over Rape, Friday, 5/15â€

From Oregonians For Immigration Reform - Just south of Portland, Oregon in Gladstone. This is to protest the rape by an illegal on a co-worker at a local Wendy's. Please join us if you can.

    Protest at Wendy's this Friday, May 15 - 4 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Where: Wendy’s Restaurant, 17217 SE McLoughlin Blvd. (Exit 9 off the I-205 to Gladstone)

    When: This Friday, May 15. 4 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Why: To protest crimes against America citizens.

OFIR Friends, Yet another person has very likely been Raped by an alleged Illegal Alien, a co-worker, who Fox 12 News reports (http://www.kptv.com/news/19451805/detail.html) was previously in Jail twice in another state and released not Deported. He then came to our Sanctuary state to steal a job and commit another horrific crime. He is now in the Clackamas County Jail with an ICE hold.

This foreign national worked at Wendy’s Restaurant at 17217 SE McLoughlin Blvd. (Exit 9 off the I-205 to Gladstone), merges onto McLoughlin Blvd/Hwy 99E) and his Employer - Phuc Nguyen ph# 503-653-2472, does NOT use E-Verify!

One reason why he doesn't? House leader Dave Hunt will not allow either of two E-Verify bills currently in the Oregon Legislature to have hearings: HB 2708 introduced by Rep. Mike Schaufler, which would require employers to verify legal status of employees through the E-Verify program, or HB 3215 introduced by Rep. Sal Esquival. E-Verify is a free and accurate program operated by DHS.

KATU News reports here - http://www.katu.com/news/local/44844812 ... eo=pop&t=a -that this Crime may have been prevented if E-Verify were required here in Oregon. Check your credit report regularly, an illegal may be using your Social Security number.

    Immigration reformers picket local Wendy's
    by Meghan Kalkstein, KATU News

MILWAUKIE, Ore. - Police are looking into a rape at a Milwaukie Wendy’s where the alleged attacker, a Wendy’s employee, is believed to be in the United States illegally.

The restaurant owner says he checked out the employee's work documents when he was hired and they looked legitimate.

Now, some lawmakers and immigration reform supporters say want more than that level of effort from business owners as well as legal changes for immigration enforcement.

They not only want the laws changed, but they immediately want the owner of the Wendy’s to start using the electronic “e-verifyâ€

The owner told KATU News by phone that the protest is an unfortunate situation but that he has done everything by law that is required of him as an employer.

The anti-ILLEGAL comments on the source article seem to out number the Pro-ILLEGAL comments.
