Man found guilty of sexually assaulting 7- year old girl

WINONA, Minnesota
A Winona man has pleaded guilty to one count of second- degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of first- degree burglary as part of a plea deal.

Adelaido Mendez Juan, age 24, broke into a random Winona home last August and inappropriately touched a 7 year old girl before jumping out her second story window to escape.

Juan says he was very intoxicated during the incident.

He will serve at least 7.5 years in prison. Judge Jeff Thompson said that Juan, who is an "undocumented worker" will probably be deported after he serves his time.
