President Clinton is the individual who pushed the 5 point hiring preference for hispanics. No one else has a hiring preference just for having a name. Even American Indians must practice an indian religion or live on a reservation to claim their preference. A name is not enough. This preference allows hispanics to have an advantage of everyone else except for veterans who have a service connected disability of over 30%. Clinton used the excuse that hispanics were poor and disadvantaged. Last time I looked we had poor of every race not just hispanics so why the special treatment. Because he was looking at the hispanic vote, the democrats already had the black vote so nothing needed to be done for them. Many white americans are going to vote democrat becuase they believe that they care for the working class and poor.
