LAREDO, Texas - A request for assistance resulted in the Border Patrol finding a 'stash house' with 18 undocumented immigrants and 150 rounds of ammo Thursday.

It all started when a Laredo Police officer responded to a call at a home off U.S. Highway 59 in east Laredo. Upon arrival, the subject in custody provided information about a possible stash house nearby.

After arriving at the house, agents found a total of 18 people inside. The investigation revealed all of them were in the country illegally, including the two homeowners.

Officers also found a shotgun and 150 rounds of ammunition.

The suspects were from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and Columbia.
